Admissions | Appeals

Admission Policies

Our Admissions advisor can provide additional direct to school support and training on all aspects of admissions for your Governing Body and Leadership Team.

The way we work: In partnership with your Chair of Governors and Headteacher we look with you at what is needed year on year with regard to policy review and admissions criteria. 

What the support involves:

  • Initiated contact by the Admissions advisor.
  • Telephone and email support
  • Admissions Policy guidance
  • Advice on changes to admissions criteria and consultation process
  • Our Diocesan Associate or Partner will contact you to agree time and date for the support.

Some brokered fees may apply and vary according to the amount and type of specialist support required.

Appeals support & advice

Our Admissions advisor can provide additional direct to school support and training on all aspects of admissions and appeals.

The way we work: In partnership with your Chair of Governors and Headteacher we look with you at what is needed with regard to preparation for appeal and the appeal process. 

What the support involves:

  • Initiated contact by the Admissions advisor.
  • Telephone and email support
  • Appeals guidance
  • Advice on timelines, preparation and the appeals process
  • Our Admissions advisor will contact you to agree time and date for the support.

We will notify you in advance if fees apply or vary according to the amount and type of specialist support required.

Direct to School training

Our Admissions adviser can provide additional direct to school training on all aspects of admissions and appeals for your Governing Body and Leadership Team.

The way we work: We will agree a date and time for the training that is convenient to you and identify a named consultant to work with you. This will be confirmed in writing. Our Diocesan associate consultants and professional partners are all practitioners with appropriate and relevant experience in Admissions and Appeals.

What the training involves:

  • Agreed focus between Diocesan Adviser and school
  • 2 hour in school session
  • Preparation, resources and materials included
